Change the schedule of a scan
Use this guide to change how often Chronom scans your connected cloud accounts and services.
The scan schedule determines the frequency at which Chronom automatically scans your cloud accounts for security vulnerabilities, compliance issues, and configuration changes. More frequent scans provide faster detection of potential issues.
Prerequisites
- Organization admin or a role with permission to manage scanning settings
- The account(s) you want to scan are already connected
Change AWS Account scan schedule
- Sign in to Chronom.
- If you manage multiple organizations (MSP), select the desired organization using the organization switcher.
- Go to Settings.
- Go to the AWS Accounts tab
- Click on the settings icon near the AWS Account's name.
- Locate the Scan Rate drop down menu.
- Choose a frequency:
- Twice a day
- Once a day
- Twice a week
- Once a week
- Twice a month
- Once a month
- Scheduling Disabled
- Click Save to save your scan rate.
Change Azure Account scan schedule
- Sign in to Chronom.
- If you manage multiple orgs (MSP), pick the target org from the org switcher.
- Go to Settings.
- Go to the Azure Accounts tab
- Click on the settings icon near the Azure Subscription's name.
- Locate the Scan Rate drop down menu.
- Choose a frequency:
- Twice a day
- Once a day
- Twice a week
- Once a week
- Twice a month
- Once a month
- Scheduling Disabled
- Click Save to save your scan rate.
